Dr. Hussain is a graduate of medicine from Dow Medical College. He passed Sindh Public Service Commission exam in 1974 and joined Health Services of Government of Sindh. He remained in the main stream administration of highly demanding and overloaded prestigious institute of Civil Hospital Karachi from 1974 to 1995. At the time Civil Hospital Karachi was the biggest Hospital of the country with bed strength of 1750 and 9 operation theatres and 36 departments. The Hospital had one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the world. He has headed many large public hospitals as the Chief Executive / Medical Superintendent. In 1995 he joined the World Bank Family Health Project as the Project Director. He aims of improving the quality of life of common people and bringing world class infertility treatment to Pakistan at affordable prices.
